Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days and are based on the information provided at the time of quotation. Final charges may vary if the actual volume of goods differs from the original estimate. We reserve the right to adjust the price if the job takes longer than estimated or if additional services are required.

2. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of the removal unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance. We accept cash, cheque, and bank transfer. For larger jobs, a deposit may be required at the time of booking.

3. Insurance and Liability

Sam's Removals is fully insured. However, we recommend that customers arrange their own insurance for valuable or irreplaceable items. We will take all reasonable care of your possessions, but we cannot accept liability for damage to items that are not properly packed or protected, or for items of exceptional value unless specifically agreed in writing.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure all items are ready for removal at the agreed time
  • Notify us of any access restrictions or parking issues
  • Ensure that all personal items, documents, and valuables are removed before we arrive
  • Be present or have an authorized representative present during the removal
  • Ensure that the destination property is ready to receive goods

5. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or postpone your removal, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled removal date may be subject to a cancellation fee. We understand that property transactions can be delayed, and we will do our best to accommodate changes to your schedule.

6. Delays

While we make every effort to arrive on time, delays can occur due to traffic, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any delays and work to minimize disruption to your schedule.

7. Prohibited Items

We cannot transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, firearms, or other dangerous items. Please inform us if you have any items that may require special handling or cannot be transported.

8. Complaints
